QUETTA: A head constable of the police was martyred in a terrorist attack on a police checkpost in the Killi Hirmzai area of Pishin.
According to details, unidentified terrorists opened fire on the Loman Police Checkpost near Killi Hirmzai, resulting in the martyrdom of police head constable Naeematullah Tareen, who was on duty.
Initial reports said the injured officer was immediately shifted to hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries. Soon after the incident, police cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. Raids are being conducted at various locations to arrest the attackers, while security in the region has been tightened.
Police officials stated that those involved in this cowardly attack will be brought to justice at all costs. They added that the sacrifice of the martyred policeman will not go in vain, and all available resources will be utilized to maintain peace and order in the area.
