KARACHI: Dow University Hospital emerged as the champions of the Modern Premier Cricket League Season 3 at the UBL Sports Complex on Monday.
Dow Hospital posted a competitive total of 82 runs for the loss of two wickets but Indus Hospital managed to score 76 runs for the loss of 3 wickets against Dow’s team in the final of the league.
The league was organised by the Modern Hospital in which teams from over 24 leading hospitals of the city participated. The winning team was awarded a trophy along with a cash prize of Rs 300,000, while the runners-up also received a trophy and a cash reward.
The semi-finalist teams were recognised with prizes, and outstanding players of the tournament were honoured with shields for their performances.
