Many Pakistanis are unaware of the severe impacts of climate change and those in charge of dealing with this issue often remain indifferent, as they live in comfortable homes that are less susceptible to floods and monsoons. Consequently, they fail to understand the struggles faced by poor individuals who lack proper shelter.
I strongly urge the government, those responsible for managing climate-related issues and the media to continuously highlight this critical challenge. It is essential to make those in power aware of their responsibilities and to encourage timely action to address this urgent crisis.
