LAHORE : A performance review meeting of Pakistan Railways Lahore Division was held at the Divisional Superintendent’s Office under the chairmanship of Inamullah.
Administrative, technical and operational matters were reviewed. Officials also highlighted challenges such as manpower shortage and difficulties in meeting targets.
The DS directed departments to enhance revenue from land, commercial, freight and cargo sectors and expedite recovery of dues. He also stressed efficient electricity use and strict adherence to targets. To improve services, instructions were issued to fully activate the computerised interlocking system.
Inamullah said measures were being taken for improvement and asset protection in line with the vision of Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, adding that negligence would not be tolerated.
