Islamabad: Marking the World Heritage Day, the Pakistan National Council of the Arts under the National Heritage and Culture, reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to performing, preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Pakistan.
"Our heritage is our identity- a living legacy that connects us to our roots and shapes who we are as a nation. At PNCA, this legacy is being actively preserved and carried forward through all our departments, particularly under the Heritage Division, where dedicated efforts continue to safeguard our traditions, arts, and cultural expressions," said PNCA Director General Muhammad Ayub Jamali.
He said that protecting our heritage is not just an institutional duty but a collective responsibility. He emphasized the need to keep our cultural values alive by engaging communities, especially the younger generation, so that this rich legacy continues to thrive.
