The director general of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the federal interior minister paid a visit to the FIA Karachi Zone, where they reviewed the performance of various departments and expressed satisfaction over overall operations.
During the visit, the FIA Karachi Zone director and the additional director general South gave a comprehensive briefing on ongoing complaints, inquiries and key cases. Senior officials conducted a detailed review of all circles and stressed that public complaints should be addressed on a priority basis. They directed officers to ensure timely resolution of complaints and transparent investigations at all levels. Matters related to the welfare of officers and staff were also discussed.
The FIA DG said the promotion system was being further improved to ensure professional growth, and issued directives regarding medical tests and enhanced healthcare facilities for personnel. He emphasized the need to further improve the agency’s overall performance, adding that additional resources would be provided in case of better results.
The FIA Karachi Zone director assured the visiting officials that transparency, merit, and prompt resolution of public issues would be ensured, and efforts would continue to enhance the institution’s effectiveness, according to an FIA spokesperson.
