LAHORE: Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider said that easing the hardships of those in difficulty is a great act of worship.

He added that youth can play a vital role in saving the lives of children with thalassemia by donating blood.

He expressed these views while addressing a blood camp organised by Sundas Foundation on the occasion of World Hemophilia Day here at Governor’s House on Friday.

Governor praised the Sundas Foundation's services for the patients suffering from hemophilia, thalassemia and other blood disorders. He stressed that the government should increase assistance for sick children.
