LAHORE: Practical steps are being taken across Punjab to improve traffic management under the CM’s vision of safe roads and smooth traffic flow.
On the directions of DIG Traffic Punjab Muhammad Waqas Nazir, a special campaign has been launched to maintain traffic flow on highways.
According to the spokesperson, a congestion desk has been established at Traffic Headquarters Punjab to monitor traffic congestion points continuously across the province, including Lahore.
More than 1,000 congestion points have been identified, out of which traffic flow has been improved at over 550 locations.
The DIG said traffic police, district administration and relevant departments are working together to improve traffic flow. He urged citizens to avoid one-way violations, wrong parking and lane indiscipline.
