LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is currently negotiating with Cricket Australia (CA) to finalise the itinerary for Australia’s white-ball tour of Pakistan.

As per initial planning, the visitors are expected to arrive in late May for a three-match ODI series, pencilled in between May 31 and June 5. One match is likely to be staged in Rawalpindi, while the other two fixtures are set for Lahore.

Australia’s last visit to Pakistan came earlier this year in January, when they contested a three-match T20I series. After completing their Pakistan assignment, the Aussies will head to Bangladesh, where their ODI campaign begins on June 9.

Pakistan, meanwhile, face a packed calendar. Before hosting Australia, they will tour Bangladesh for a two-Test series from May 8 to 20, their first red-ball outing since drawing 1-1 at home against South Africa last October.
