CHILAS: Three police personnel were martyred and others including a DSP were injured in an attack on a police team in Diamer district.
According to Geo News, the firing incident took place in the Thor Goyan area of Diamer district, resulting in the martyrdom of three policemen and the injury of other personnel, including a DSP.
The Assistant Commissioner said that the police team was busy destroying opium crops in the Thor area when suddenly unknown individuals opened fire on the police team. The local administration says that the bodies of the three martyred policemen have been shifted to the Regional Headquarters Hospital, while three injured policemen, including the DSP, are also undergoing treatment at the Regional Headquarters Hospital.
