KARACHI: Trials for the selection of national senior and junior hockey teams were held at Abdul Sattar Edhi Hockey Stadium here on Monday. A total of 60 talented players from Sindh and Balochistan demonstrated their skills in the trials. The trials were supervised by the Chairman of the Management Committee of the PHF and renowned Olympian Islahuddin and Olympian Hassan Sardar.
On this occasion, members of the selection committee, Olympians Samiullah, Nasir Ali and Kashif Jawad, were also present. Four different sessions were held to test the physical fitness and technical skills of the players. The national senior team head coach Manzoor-ul-Hassan and junior team head coach Ayaz Mahmood were also present to provide technical feedback to the selection committee.
