The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Friday intensified its crackdown on illegal migrants and their facilitators, arresting a suspect during a raid conducted by the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle (AHTC).
According to an FIA spokesperson, the action was carried out on the basis of an FIR after receiving credible information about his presence. A raid was conducted at the Regional Passport Office in Saddar, which led to the arrest of Aamir Ali Lashari.
The spokesperson stated that the suspect was involved in facilitating illegal migrants and had assisted an Afghan national, Naimatullah, in processing a passport. At the time, the suspect was posted at the clearance counter and allegedly misused his position to provide unlawful assistance.
