Sindh Governor Nehal Hashmi held a meeting with a delegation led by Abdul Qadir Memon, president of the Garden Welfare Association and Help and Safe Foundation, to discuss key issues concerning the Old City area and youth welfare.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on promoting technical skills among the young people, creating employment opportunities and organising vocational training programmes. The delegation highlighted that youths in the Old City possessed immense potential but required proper guidance and opportunities to succeed.
The delegation included Prime Minister Youth Programme Coordinator Fahad Shafiq, senior journalist Iqtadar Anwar, and members of the Garden Welfare Association, Muhammad Saad and Naveen Agria, who presented suggestions related to their respective fields.
Hashmi appreciated the efforts of the delegation and assured them that the government was committed to promoting youth development and technical education. He also expressed his intention to soon visit the Old City localities, including Garden, to assess the ground realities.
