LAHORE:The University of Management and Technology (UMT) hosted a seminar on the impact of rising tensions between Iran, Israel and the United States on the global and regional economy.
According to a press release, the seminar was organised by the Hassan Murad School of Management and featured former Finance Minister Miftah Ismail as the chief guest. The event was attended by Vice Rector UMT, Dr Ejaz Ullah Cheema, along with faculty members and students.
In his address, Miftah Ismail stated that the ongoing global economic crisis was significantly affecting not only the Middle East but also Pakistan’s economy. He emphasised that timely and effective policymaking was essential to tackle the current economic challenges.
