ISLAMABAD: Muhammad Asim Khan won the qualifying round final as three Pakistanis will now contest the PSA World Championships 2026 in Giza, Egypt. The World Championship will start from May 8-16.

Leading Pakistani players Noor Zaman and Ashab Irfan are already drawn in the Main Round due to their higher rankings.

In the final of the qualifying round meant for Asia, Asim defeated Malaysian Joachim Chuah in a hard-fought five-game thriller 11-3, 13-11, 9-11, 3-11, 12-10. The final lasted for 82 minutes, and Asim went on to win the fifth game 12-10.
