Rawalpindi : Pirwadhai Police have made significant progress in a 2025 murder investigation following the arrest of two additional suspects involved in the abduction and killing of a citizen over a personal dispute.
According to police officials, the newly detained individuals are accused of facilitating the crime by disposing of the victim's body in Nullah Lai. The murder case was originally registered in October 2025, and these latest arrests were achieved through a strategic combination of technical and human intelligence.
This development follows the earlier apprehension of two other accomplices in the same case.
Superintendent of Police (Rawal) Saad Arshad, stated that the investigation team is compiling solid evidence to ensure the suspects are formally charged and face strict legal penalties, adding that the arrests were the result of a coordinated effort by law enforcement, utilizing both technical surveillance and human intelligence to track down the accomplices. He said, two other primary suspects had already been taken into custody during the initial stages of the probe.
