Woman found dead, man injured in car

HARIPUR: The Motorway Police claimed to have recovered the body of a woman and a man in critically injured condition from a stationary motorcar here on Friday evening.

According to police, the Motorway Police spotted a car parked on the side of Hazara Motorway near Kotnajibullah interchange. After the search, the police found the body of a woman next to the driver seat and the man on the driving seat critically injured.

Both were carrying bullet wounds in the head, police said.The Motorway Police informed the Rescue 1122 and shifted the body and the injured person to Trauma Centre. Haripur police’s spokesman, while quoting Motorway Police, said that they have also recovered from the same motorcar a woman, claimed to be the mother of the dead woman.

The slain woman told police that the dead woman was her daughter Aneela Bibi, 35, daughter of Khalid of Al Badar Colony Abbottabad. And both daughter and mother were returning from Islamabad in the motorcar of one of their acquaintances namely Shehzad Ahmed, 35.

She told the police that when their car reached near the Kotnajibullah interchange, Shehzad took out a pistol and shot at her daughter Aneela Bibi first and later himself due to unknown reasons.
