PESHAWAR: Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education Arshad Ayub Khan on Wednesday directed the chairmen of all Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education in the province to ensure complete arrangements for the transparent conduct of the ongoing matriculation examinations.

He instructed them to visit examination centers in their respective districts on a daily basis and personally monitor the examination process strictly. He further emphasized the need to devise an effective strategy to completely eliminate the practice of cheating.

Similarly, headmasters and principals of the concerned schools, who are acting as resident inspectors, should also be mobilized to ensure transparency in the examination process. He issued these directives while chairing an online meeting of the chairmen of examination boards held on Tuesday in Peshawar. Addressing the meeting, the provincial minister said that the board administration must ensure proper lighting arrangements in examination halls.
