LARKANA: President Zardari hoisted the national flag at Neudero House, here on Monday.
A smartly-turned-out Sindh Police contingent presented a guard of honour as the national anthem was played.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Member of the National Assembly and PPP Woman Wing Central President Faryal Talpur, Member of the Sindh Assembly Sohail Anwar Siyal, and other senior officials were also present.
President also welcomed the message sent by King Charles III of the United Kingdom on the occasion of Pakistan Day.
In a post on his X handle, the President said the King’s warm words reflect a bond that goes beyond diplomacy, rooted in people, culture and a shared future.
He said he is truly touched by this enduring friendship.
