Pakistan offers condolences on helicopter crash in Qatar

ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office has offered condolences on behalf of Pakistan on a helicopter crash in Qatar.

In a statement, it said, “The people and the government of Pakistan express deep sorrow over the tragic helicopter crash in Qatar that resulted in the loss of precious lives. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and to the governments of Qatar and Turkey. Pakistan stands in firm solidarity with both brotherly nations during this difficult time.”

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar Sunday spoke with Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty to discuss the evolving regional situation. He emphasised the importance of dialogue and collective efforts to promote peace and stability in the region. The two leaders also exchanged warm Eid greetings.
