Former international footballer Abrar Shah passes away

LAHORE: The funeral prayers of former Pakistan Police football team captain, manager, and international footballer Syed Abrar Hussain Rizvi, popularly known as Inspector Abrar Shah, were offered on Monday at the Mosque and Imambargah, Jafariya Colony, Bund Road, Lahore.

Abrar Shah, an ex-Ravian and member of Wohaib Club, was remembered as a dedicated sportsman who contributed significantly to football in Pakistan. His passing marks the loss of a respected figure in both the police force and the football community.

On his demise, heartfelt condolences were expressed by Hafiz Imran Butt from Wohaib Club, Jabran Bin Salman, Muhammad Irfan Butt, former Press Secretary of Punjab Police Cricket Team Sohail Javed Butt, Manager Pakistan Police Aqeel Javed Butt, and other officials.
