ANF arrests drug suppliers

Rawalpindi : Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has conducted six operations across different cities of the country, arresting seven drug suppliers and recovered 156.7kg of drugs worth more than Rs14.5 million.

According to ANF spokesperson, several operations were conducted near educational institutions as part of the force’s campaign against drug trafficking among students.

ANF recovered two kilograms of ice from a drug dealer near Sakhi Sarwar Road in DG Khan.

In another operation near Dry Port Chowk in Sialkot, officials seized 300 grams of hashish from two drug smugglers.

Similarly, ANF recovered 500 grams of hashish from a drug pusher near the Karakoram Highway Road in Haripur.

During initial interrogation, the arrested suspects confessed that they were supplying drugs to students of educational institutions.

In an inter-provincial drug interdiction operation near Kot Abdul Malik Toll Plaza in Sheikhupura, ANF recovered 114 kilograms of hashish and 37kg of opium from a vehicle and arrested the dealer involved in smuggling.
