LAHORE:A meeting of the Investigation Transfer Board was held under the chairmanship of DIG Investigation Syed Zeeshan Raza.
The meeting was attended by SSP Legal Ghulam Hussain and other officers. Ten cases, including murder, fraud, breach of trust and cheque dishonor were discussed. Investigating officers and both parties presented their positions before the board, which issued orders regarding transfer of investigation in the cases.
DIG Investigation reprimanded some officers over poor investigations and directed that show-cause notices be issued. He said there will be no compromise on merit during investigations and the purpose of the board is to ensure timely and transparent justice.
