Interviews for the post of vice chancellor at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (SBBUVAS) will be held on Wednesday, February 25, it has been learnt.

The interviews will be conducted by the search committee headed by Dr Tariq Rafi. A total of 27 candidates have applied for the position, including two applicants from Punjab and the incumbent vice chancellor, Prof Dr Farooq Hassan.

Dr Hassan’s initial four -year tenure as vice chancellor expired around ten months ago. However, the Sindh chief minister did not approve an extension and directed that the post be advertised.
