ISLAMABAD. The court of Banking Court Judge, Abdul Ghafoor Kakar, granted time to the FIA “to submit the complete challan after investigation was completed into the foreign funding case against the PTI founder and others, including Siraj Ahmed and a private bank employee Faisal Qazi”.
During the hearing, the special prosecutor in the foreign funding case, Wasiq Malik, appeared and said that earlier a partial challan of the case had been submitted but now two new accused had also joined the investigation. Instead of a supplementary challan, the complete challan will be submitted to the court.
Judge Abdul Ghafoor asked how much time he needed to complete the challan again.
Prosecutor Wasiq Malik stated that if the court would give them 10 to 15 days, they would submit the complete challan.
The court ordered for submission of complete challan against the PTI founder and others by March 5. It granted interim bail to the accused Siraj Ahmed and Faisal Qazi and adjourned the hearing till March 5.
