Islamabad:The 76th meeting of the Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASR) was held at Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), where research projects were appreciated. The meeting was chaired by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Nasir Mahmood.
University deans, senior professors, faculty members as well as renowned external experts from various universities across the country also participated. On the first day of the meeting, 12 Ph.D and 102 M.Phil scholars from the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Education presented their research proposals (synopses). The research projects presented during the meeting were not only appreciated by the participants, but the scholars’ academic standard, research depth and critical abilities were also highly praised.
