Islamabad:Coordinator General of OIC-Comstech Prof Dr M. Iqbal Choudhary has stressed the importance of science, technology and entrepreneurship in strengthening cooperation among OIC member states, saying innovation-led collaboration can translate scientific capacity into scalable enterprises and real economic impact.
He was speaking at a high-level forum titled “Pakistan Pavilion DAVOS 2026: Experience, Lessons Learnt and Beyond,” hosted by Pathfinder Group, which brought together senior policymakers, diplomats, industry leaders and entrepreneurs to review Pakistan’s participation at DAVOS 2026 and explore ways to convert global exposure into measurable national outcomes.
Hosted by Ikram Sehgal, co-chairman of Pathfinder Group, the forum focused on innovation diplomacy, startup internationalisation and expanded programming under Pathfinder CITADEL. The Pakistan Pavilion at DAVOS 2026 was inaugurated by PM Shehbaz Sharif.
Sehgal described Pathfinder CITADEL as an engine designed to transform talent into jobs and innovation into economic growth, highlighting its role in showcasing Pakistani startups operating in fields such as artificial intelligence, fintech, health, climate and education during the World Economic Forum.
