LAHORE: The Diamond Paints Polo Cup 2026 concluded in thrilling fashion at the Jinnah Polo Fields, where BN Polo emerged as champions after defeating FG Polo by 9–7.5 in the main final. The prestigious 10-goal tournament drew a large crowd of spectators and families, with the final graced by Chief Guest Mir Shoaib Ahmed (CEO Diamond Paints), alongside Director Mrs. Mir Shoaib, Director Mir Huzaifa Ahmed, and Club Secretary Major (R) Adil Sultan Rao.

The championship clash was a showcase of high-class polo and intense competition. BN Polo maintained their dominance throughout the match to secure the title. The star of the final was Saqib Khan Khakwani, who scored six goals and proved decisive in his team’s victory. He was supported by Farooq Amin Sufi, Ibrahim Khalil, and Hamza Mawaz Khan, each contributing a goal.

For FG Polo, Marcos Rivarola led the charge with six goals, while Raja Temur Nadeem added one, but their efforts fell short against BN Polo’s relentless attack.

Earlier in the day, Master Paints claimed the subsidiary title after edging Team Balochistan by 9–8 in a nail-biting contest.

The prestigious Best Playing Pony Award was presented to the mare owned by Babar Naseem, recognizing outstanding performance and contribution during the tournament.
