RAWALPINDI: The Punjab Home Department has summoned all records related to the medical treatment of Imran Khan at Adiala jail.

Sources said that jail authorities have been directed to provide a complete chart detailing Imran Khan’s vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse rate, body temperature and blood sugar levels. The consultants’ reports are also being sought, including details of when and on which days medical staff conducted examinations inside the prison. According to jail officials, the on-duty doctor records Imran Khan’s vital signs three times a day as part of routine medical monitoring. In addition, the government has formed a medical panel comprising two expert doctors from Al-Shifa Eye Hospital — Dr. Nadeem Qureshi and Dr. Amjad — to examine his condition, assess his eye health and oversee any necessary treatment, including the possible transfer to a hospital for specialised care.
