IHC admin committee reconstituted

ISLAMABAD: Changes have been made to Administration Committee of Islamabad High Court (IHC), as Justice Muhammad Asif has been included in the committee in place of Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro.

The Selection Board for officers of IHC has also been reconstituted.

A notification has been issued regarding formation of a new four-member Administration Committee under chairmanship Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar. Following the changes, Justice Muhammad Asif has replaced Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro on the committee. The four-member committee now comprises Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar, Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir, Justice Azam Khan, and Justice Muhammad Asif.

The Selection Board of IHC has also been restructured. Justice Khadim Soomro has been removed, and a new Selection Board has been formed comprising Justice Azam Khan and Justice Inam Amin Minhas.

The Selection Board is responsible for recruitment and promotions of High Court officers in Grade-16 and above. The notifications were issued by the Registrar.
