Rawalpindi : Attock Refinery Limited (ARL) won the OICCI Climate Excellence Award 2026 in the special category of ‘Supporting Biodiversity,’ says a press release.
The award was presented by the Federal Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, Dr. Musadik Masood Malik, at the 4th Pakistan Climate Conference 2026, organised by the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce & Industry (OICCI).
Asad Hasan, chief executive officer, National Refinery Limited (NRL), received the award on behalf of ARL.
The OICCI Climate Excellence Awards recognize exceptional innovation, leadership, and impactful initiatives in addressing climate change in Pakistan. ARL’s recognition reflects its sustained efforts in biodiversity conservation, habitat restoration, public awareness, and the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices, including water-efficient landscaping and solar powered drip irrigation systems.
