QUETTA: Three people were killed and two others injured when unidentified armed motorcyclists opened fire in the Nal area of Khuzdar district on Sunday, police said.
According to officials, the attack took place near Harnbo Deem in Nal, where the assailants targeted civilians before fleeing the scene.
The deceased were identified as Seth Manhol, Dr Abdul Rasheed, and Abdul Saboor, while the injured were named Fahad Rasheed and Master Dar Muhammad.
Police and security forces rushed to the site soon after receiving information about the incident. The bodies and injured were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital, where the deceased were handed over to their families after completing legal formalities.
Authorities said the victims belonged to Wadh. A case has been registered against unknown attackers, and a search operation has been launched to trace the suspects.
