Women’s Pink Games set to start from 11th

LAHORE : The provincial capital is ready to host women’s biggest sports event - Khelta Punjab Pink Games from February 11 to 15, 2026 in which more than 3,000 female players will participate 20 different sports disciplines.

Under-21 female players will participate in inter-division competitions during Khelta Punjab Pink Games.

Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that providing equal opportunities to women athletes is top priority of Punjab Sports Department. “Punjab Sports Department will continue to organize competitive sports events for female athletes of the province in future as well”.

Provincial Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar has said that the improvement of sports infrastructure across the province is the top priority of the Punjab government.

Provincial Minister for Sports Faisal Khokhar directed the Punjab Sports Department to further enhance its performance and ensure that all ongoing sports development schemes are completed within the stipulated timeframe.

He said that the pace of sports development schemes is being accelerated across the province to promote sports culture and provide modern and quality sports facilities to the talented youth. He emphasised that sports played a significant role in engaging young people in the positive and healthy activities.
