MINGORA: The dwellers of the flood-hit landikas area in Mingara, Swat, have rebuilt an important link bridge on a self-help basis, which was washed away by a recent flash flood.
The bridge had been swept away by a strong flood surge, severely disrupting daily routines and forcing residents to use long alternative routes. The locals said students faced difficulties in reaching schools, patients struggled to access hospitals, and traders encountered serious problems in transporting goods.
