PESHAWAR: The highest bids were offered for personalised number plates of vehicles during a bidding here on Tuesday.
In the auction, the Wazir-1 number plate was purchased for Rs15 million while Rs14.5 million was offered for Afridi-1. Afridi 1, was bought by Peshawar Zalmi owner Javed Afridi.
Among the auctioned number plates, Khan-1, also received a high bid. Khan 1, number plate was auctioned at Rs11.1 million and was bought by Member Provincial Assembly Naik Muhammad Khan.
Also, Rs10 million was offered for Peshawar-1 while Haripur-1 number plate was sold for Rs8 million.
Yousafzai-1 was sold for Rs4.92 million and Durrani-1 for Rs1. 6 million.
