Islamabad:Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has said that for national development, the active participation of women in all sectors, including business, is essential, as no nation can progress by sidelining half of its population.
He stated that gender is not a barrier to progress and cited Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto as an example, saying that by becoming the first Muslim woman Prime Minister, she proved that women can excel in every field.
He was addressing a gala dinner held in honor of the participants of the Pakistan Women Chambers Presidents International Conference as the chief guest. Chairman Senate said that during his tenures as Speaker, Prime Minister, and Chairman Senate, he always ensured equal opportunities for women and prioritize.
Islamabad: President of the Islamabad Women Chamber, Samina Fazil, along with APJCCI Patron-in-Chief Ahsan Bakhtawari, is presenting a bouquet to Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani. UBG Secretary General Zafar Bakhtawari and others are also present.
