ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Monday discussed regional developments and issues of bilateral cooperation with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Indonesia.
Ishaq Dar spoke with Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Monday, discussed the regional developments and avenues for deeper bilateral cooperation. In a press release, the Foreign Office Spokesperson said “Both leaders looked forward to continuing their discussions on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland,”
The foreign minister also discussed recent regional developments and ongoing bilateral and multilateral issues with the Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty. “Both leaders emphasized the importance of continued dialogue and cooperation and agreed to meet on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos,” the Foreign Office Spokesperson said in a press release.
In his telephonic conversations with Indonesian FM Sugiono, current regional, international developments, and matters of mutual interest were discussed. Both welcomed the opportunity to hold a follow up meeting on the sidelines of World Economic Forum in Davos.
In yet another meeting, UK High Commissioner Jane Marriott also called on FM Ishaq Dar. The two leaders discussed strengthening bilateral relations. They also took up regional, relations and current international developments. Both sides appreciated frequent exchanges between Pakistan and UK. issues were also discussed.
