TIMERGARA: Annual elections of the District Press Club, Timergara, for 2026 were held on Saturday, with Haleem Asad elected and Ihsanullah Shakir elected as president and general secretary, respectively.
The polls were conducted under the supervision of caretaker president, Khalid Mahmood Butt, and general secretary Malik Ziaur Rahim Zia in a cordial atmosphere, with club members actively participating in the voting process.
According to the results, Tahir Shah was elected as vice-president, Imranullah joint secretary, Malik Akbar Saeed finance secretary, Rehmatullah Swati press secretary and Bahramand Syed as office secretary.
Addressing members after his election, Halim Asad thanked journalists and pledged to work through mutual consultation.
