LAHORE: The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CM Pak Limited (Zong) to establish Zong customer facilitation kiosks at 15 e-Khidmat Marakaz across Punjab.
The signing ceremony was held at the Arfa Software Technology Park and presided over by PITB Director General (e-Governance) Sajid Latif.The MoU was signed by PITB Director Development and Procurement Ata ur Rehman and CM Pak Limited (Zong) Executive Director Sales and Distribution Faheem Durrani on behalf of their respective organisations. The PITB delegation included Additional Director General CFSC Aquil Khan, Chief Financial Officer Nadia Riaz, and Senior Programme Manager Ghulam Ali.
The Zong delegation comprised Deputy General Manager Commercial Centre A Aurangzeb Khan, Regional Director Commercial Centre Ejaz Jameel, Senior Manager Trade Marketing Obaidur Rehman, and Senior Manager Commercial Planning and Business Support Sabahuddin Suleman.
Following the ceremony, the Zong delegation visited the e-Khidmat Markaz at ASTP, where the PITB team gave a live demonstration of ongoing service operations and citizen facilitation processes.
Under the collaboration, e-Khidmat Marakaz will host Zong customer facilitation kiosks, providing citizens with access to SIM cards, data packages and other digital services. The initiative underscores the PITB’s focus on modern, efficient and citizen-centric service delivery, while supporting efforts to enhance digital connectivity across the province.
