KARACHI: Meezan Bank has entered into a partnership with Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) to offer travel-related benefits to the bank’s debit cardholders, the two sides said on Wednesday.
Under the agreement, customers will be able to book PIA flights using Meezan Bank debit cards and receive exclusive discounts, aimed at making ticket purchases more convenient and cashless.
The partnership was signed in Karachi by senior executives from both organisations. The companies said the collaboration reflects a broader push to improve customer facilitation through digital payments and strategic alliances.
Meezan Bank said the arrangement supports its focus on expanding Sharia-compliant payment solutions and strengthening acceptance across consumer channels. PIA said the initiative is part of efforts to enhance the booking experience and offer added value to passengers through partnerships with financial institutions.
