KARACHI: Highlighting serious and sensitive social issues that continue to silently destroy countless lives and are often suppressed in the name of honour, Geo TV is set to premiere its new drama serial “Aik Aur Pakiza” today. The drama is a joint presentation of Geo TV and Kashf Foundation, produced with the support of the Canadian government, and will officially go on air on Wednesday. Written by renowned writer Bee Gul, “Aik Aur Pakiza” revolves around one of the most pressing issues of the modern era — cybercrime. With courage and determination, she challenges societal double standards and confronts harsh realities in her struggle for dignity and justice. The drama is directed by acclaimed director Kashif Nisar, and the narrative primarily revolves around the characters portrayed by Sehar Khan and Numair Khan.

The supporting cast includes Noor-ul-Hassan, Nadia Afghan, Umar Dar, Dawar Mehmood, Gohar Rasheed, Aamina Ilyas, Ali Jaan, along with several other senior and emerging artists.

“Aik Aur Pakiza” will be aired every Wednesday and Thursday at 8:00 pm on Geo TV and is expected to serve not only as a source of entertainment but also as an effective medium for raising social awareness.
