Rawalpindi:Three women died on the spot due to the alleged gas leakage, including 60-year-old Zeenat, 45-year-old Khurshid and 70-year-old Zeba, while 23-year-old Noor Fatima was pulled out alive in an unconscious state and immediately shifted to a nearby hospital where she is being provided medical assistance. The incident appeared here in a private housing society on Tuesday.
The tragic incident due to alleged gas leakage in the house was reported to the control room of Rescue 1122 Rawalpindi, upon which the rescue teams immediately responded and reached the spot and started rescue operations.
A team of two emergency vehicles of Rescue 1122 reached the spot, which included five rescue personnel. The command of the rescue operation was taken over by the Rescue Safety Officer. The rescue personnel immediately secured the affected area and started a search and rescue operation.
