CHITRAL: Fear and panic spread in sub-tehsil Baghusht in Garam Chashma after a snow leopard attacked livestock in the area.
The residents said that the attacks were multiple and had not only caused heavy losses to their animals but also posed a serious threat to human lives.
They urged the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Wildlife Department to take immediate steps to shift the snow leopard away from the locality.
The residents warned that if timely action was not taken, they would take steps on a self-help basis to protect their lives and cattlehead.
