Bahrain commander calls on naval chief

ISLAMABAD: Commander of the Royal Bahrain Naval Force, Rear Admiral Ahmed Mohamed Ebrahim Al Bin Ali, visited the Naval Headquarters in Islamabad and called on Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Chief of the Naval Staff, during his official visit to Pakistan. The visit reflected the growing defence and maritime cooperation between the two brotherly countries.

Upon his arrival at the Naval Headquarters, the visiting dignitary was warmly received by the Chief of the Naval Staff. A smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Navy presented a guard of honour to the Commander of the Royal Bahrain Naval Force as a mark of respect and friendship. Later, the dignitary laid a floral wreath at the Shuhada Monument to pay rich tribute to the martyrs of the Pakistan Navy who laid down their lives in the line of duty.

During the meeting, both sides held detailed discussions on matters of mutual interest, regional maritime security and avenues for enhancing bilateral naval cooperation. The talks also focused on professional collaboration, training exchanges and coordination to address common maritime challenges in the region. Both naval chiefs reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening professional interaction and expanding defence collaboration between the Pakistan Navy and Royal Bahrain Naval Force.

The visit underscores the strong, cordial, and longstanding relations between Pakistan and Bahrain and reflects the shared resolve of both countries to promote peace, security and stability in the region through continued cooperation and mutual understanding.
