Islamabad:The two-day Pakistan-Tajikistan Cultural Festival concluded at Lok Virsa here with colourful cultural displays, traditional performances and enthusiastic public participation, reaffirming the centuries-old historical, cultural, and spiritual ties between the two friendly countries.
Held as part of Pakistan-Tajikistan Cultural Week, the festival aimed to promote cultural diplomacy, people-to-people contacts, and regional harmony.During the event, Lok Virsa presented a vibrant cultural landscape featuring traditional Tajik and Pakistani food stalls offering authentic cuisine, along with exhibitions of traditional dresses, jewellery, handicrafts and folk art that drew large crowds.
Cultural performances remained the main attraction of the festival, with traditional Tajik songs and dances captivating the audience and showcasing the country’s rich musical and artistic heritage.Pakistani folk dances and musical performances were also presented, reflecting cultural diversity and mutual harmony.
