KARACHI: Geo TV is all set to premiere another compelling and emotionally rich drama serial, “Pehli Barish,” a generational love story that weaves together joy, longing, separation, and heartbreak —emotions that echo across time.
Pehli Barish tells the story of love that seems destined to repeat itself. Years ago in Lahore, two strangers, Behzad and Maleeha, met by chance and instantly fell in love. However, fate had different plans, tearing them apart and leaving deep scars on their hearts. Decades later, Behzad appears to be living a calm and settled family life, yet the memories of the past continue to haunt him. Meanwhile, his son Maani falls in love with Nimra, and once again, the shadows of old heartbreak begin to loom. As Behzad realizes that history may repeat itself, he is forced to confront his own past. Will he be able to save his son from the pain he once endured? Will Maleeha return to Behzad’s life? And can Maani and Nimra’s love survive against all odds?
The drama is a presentation of 7th Sky Entertainment, produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi. It is directed by Shehrazade Sheikh and written by Jahanzeb Qamar.
