ISLAMABAD: National Industrial Relations Commission (NIRC) Chairman Justice (retd) Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui has served a one-month notice to the President, seeking termination of his service agreement.
According to the notice, served through the Secretary of the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis, he said he had been appointed NIRC chairman on December 2, 2024, and formally assumed charge on December 4, 2024. The notice states that due to personal reasons, it has become impossible for him to continue discharging his responsibilities and performing his official duties. Consequently, a one-month notice has been submitted under Clause XII of the agreement to terminate the contract.
