ISLAMABAD: In just the second half of 2025, PTI founder Imran Khan, while being incarcerated in jail, targeted one of Pakistan’s top-tier decision makers by name more than a dozen times from his official X (formerly Twitter) account, which reflects repeated accusations and defamatory language.

It is pertinent to mention here that throughout the year, Khan has used the platform to repeatedly defame, accuse, and threaten the famous personality.

Following is a series of tweets posted on Imran Khan’s official X (formerly Twitter) account gathered by The News.

On December 4: Khan referred to the personality as “mentally unstable” and a “tyrannical dictator in history,” accusing him of causing the “complete collapse of the constitution and rule of law.”

On November 5, he referred to the same personality as a man having “lust for power”, and that he is “capable of doing anything (for power),” adding that he has “no regard for women, children and elderly.”

On October 22, Khan accused the same personality of “turning Pakistan into a Hard State”.

On September 18, in a highly charged religious metaphor, Khan stated he would not bow down to “Yazid or the tyranny of Pharoah.”

On September 16 & April 6, Khan directly blamed an important department for his and his wife’s imprisonment in “fabricated cases,” claiming they are being subjected to “worst form of psychological torture.” He stated, “I would hold (him) responsible if anything happens to him or his wife.”

On September 16 & 9, he accused the department of deliberately sabotaging relations and “Deliberately igniting tensions with Afghanistan” to “Please Western Powers.”

On August 27: Khan accused the same personality of having an “Insatiable hunger for power” and presiding over the “Worst form of dictatorship,” demanding, “ (He) should apologise to me.”

On July 25: In a grave allegation, Khan wrote on X, “(He) ordered shooting of unarmed civilians on November 26th.”

On June 25: He accused the same personality of imposing “Complete Dictatorship.”
