ISLAMABAD: Mikaeel Ali Baig lost the under-16 Junior Orange Bowl Tennis quarter-finals, but made it to the semis in doubles.

The Junior Orange Bowl International Championships 2025 in the USA is widely regarded as the Grand Slam of junior tennis. This achievement makes Mikaeel the first Pakistani player since Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi (1997–98) to reach the quarterfinal and semifinal stages at this elite global event, an extraordinary milestone in the history of Pakistan tennis.

Malacek Daniel (USA) beat Mikaeel Ali Baig (PAK) 3-6, 6-1, 6-3

Boys doubles quarterfinals:

Mikaeel Ali Baig (PAK) / Atticus Kim (USA) beat Malacek Daniel (USA) / Minvielle Charles( USA) 7-5, 6-4.
