KARACHI: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb met Saudi Arabia’s Vice Minister of Finance Abdulmuhsen Al-Khalaf in Riyadh on Thursday to discuss macroeconomic developments and ways to deepen economic cooperation.
Both sides reviewed what they described as Pakistan’s improving macroeconomic indicators and reiterated their commitment to strengthening bilateral economic ties. Aurangzeb thanked the kingdom for its bilateral and multilateral support to Pakistan’s economy.
The two officials agreed to maintain close coordination at both tactical and strategic levels in line with the priorities of their respective leaderships.Aurangzeb is in Riyadh to attend the Momentum Development Finance Conference. During the visit, he also met Mohammed Al-Tuwaijri, adviser at the Royal Court, and participated in a series of media engagements.
